Coronavirus (COVID-19) Anxiety and Transition

My practice is currently 100% HIPAA-compliant distance counseling to help with virus prevention and managing the transition we all currently face. Both mental health counseling and coaching clients have fully transitioned to video chat or phone calls to continue working toward their goals.

The changes to life in NYC and around the world are real and will continue for some time. I continue to learn about the anxiety now present in our daily life and will work with you to help manage your emotions and those of your family members and co-workers as we continue to work together to find our new normal. I help clients transition to a work-from-home situation if presented with it and help navigate specific management issues that arise during telework.

There are things we can do as a community to continue to feel connected to one another during self-isolation and social distancing. I will work with you to explore your needs and discover creative solutions to fulfilling them. Let’s all continue to be responsibly social with each other, stay active, learn new things, and express ourselves during this time.

Online counseling can be done securely, confidentially, and effectively. As a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider, I have received specific training in the use of technology to deliver counseling services. I take measures to ensure that our communications are as safe as possible including using a HIPAA-compliant video chat service that you can access with a single click or tap, using your web browser or mobile device.

I am here to help. Please reach out with any questions regarding my distance services.
